Latest news - 9/21/2016: Crowned just won the 2016 Elgin Award.

Five poems from The Sign of the Dragon have been nominated for the Rhysling Award, including the opening poem, "Interregnum," which won the 2014 Rhysling Award for Best Long Poem.

• The name: The sequence is named in honor of At the Sign of the Dragon, the lovely SF/fantasy/detective bookshop that I went to when I was growing up. The owners, Richard and Marion van der Voort, were invariably kind to me.
